This page explains how to request the deletion of your
adré account. adré is a sports and coaching app
published by adré (ADRE APP on the
app stores), an independent business operated from Switzerland —
contact@adre.app.
1. From the App
- Open adré and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Tap the Profile tab (the rightmost icon in the
navigation bar).
- Tap the menu icon ☰ at the top right of your
profile to open Settings.
- In the Account section, tap
Account Management.
- Type DELETE in the confirmation field, then tap
Delete Permanently.
Deletion is immediate, permanent and cannot be undone.
If the App is set to French, the labels are: Profil › Réglages ›
Compte › Gestion du compte, then SUPPRIMER and Supprimer
définitivement.
Uninstalling the App does not delete your account.
2. Without the App
If you no longer have the App or can no longer sign in:
- E-mail
contact@adre.app
from the e-mail address linked to your adré account, with the
subject “Account deletion”.
- Include your adré username (@…), especially if you signed in
with Apple or Google.
- We may ask for information allowing us to verify your identity.
We respond within one month.
You can also reinstall the App, sign in and follow the steps in
Section 1.
3. Before deletion
So that no payment is left hanging, deletion is refused while:
- you have an upcoming session you have paid for — cancel it
first;
- you are a coach with upcoming sessions whose participants have
paid — cancel those sessions first (participants are
refunded);
- you are a coach and earnings are still being paid out to your
bank — try again once the transfer has completed.
The same conditions apply to a request by e-mail: where relevant,
we tell you what needs to be settled before deletion.
4. Data that is deleted
Deletion erases your account and the data linked to it:
- Account and profile — sign-in credentials,
e-mail address, name, username, date of birth, photo, biography
and settings. If you signed in with Apple, the “Sign in with
Apple” authorisation granted to adré is revoked.
- Content — posts, stories, comments, likes,
favourites and shares you sent, together with all the
corresponding photo and video files.
- Connections — people you follow, your
followers and follow requests.
- Messages — the messages you sent and your
membership of conversations; one-to-one conversations are deleted
entirely.
- Activity and health — recorded workouts, GPS
routes and their maps, synced health and activity data.
- Sessions — sessions you created (with their
participant lists), your sign-ups to other people’s sessions,
reschedule requests, cancellation notices and support
requests.
- Reviews — reviews you wrote and, if you are a
coach, reviews you received.
- Challenges — challenges you created; your
profile and your votes are removed from other users’
challenges.
- Coach data — coach profile, diplomas and
certifications (including the files), profile statistics. We also
ask Stripe to delete your payout account (Stripe Connect).
5. Data that is kept
- Accounting records — transactions, bookings,
coach debits and cancellation fees are kept, but the reference to
your account is removed from them. Period: 10 years, under the
statutory accounting retention obligation (Art. 958f CO).
- Data held by Stripe — card details never pass
through our systems. Stripe may retain payment and identity
verification data under its own legal obligations.
- Reports and moderation — reports and moderation
decisions concerning you: 6 months after the decision, or longer
in case of dispute or authority request.
- Technical backups — copies may remain for up to
30 days in our technical backups.
- Technical data — connection logs: 12 months;
pseudonymised usage statistics: at most 14 months.
- Other users’ content — in group conversations,
messages sent by the other members remain visible to them.
- Departure statistics — without your name,
e-mail or identifier: your answers to the optional survey offered
before deletion (reasons, comment) and some general information
about the account (role, country, account age, declared watch,
number of imported workouts; the city only if you say there are
not enough sessions near you). They help us understand why people
leave the App.
6. Deleting some data without deleting your account
You can delete a post, a story or a recorded workout from the App
at any time. For any other data, e-mail
contact@adre.app.
7. Contact
adré — contact@adre.app.
Your rights over your data: Section 7 of the
Privacy Policy.
